Use of CSUSM logo on Shirts, Jackets, Bags, Gifts and all other Imprinted Items

 

In order to protect CSUSM’s image and reputation, the University Auxiliary and Research Services Corporation (UARSC) (an auxiliary organization of the CSU)
 regulates the use of CSUSM’s name and identifying marks. This includes external use by manufacturers and retailers, as well as internal use by academic and administrative departments, student organizations, and other internal units.
CSUSM’s trademarks include the name of the University, the intercollegiate athletics logos
 and all other identifying marks of the University.

 

All manufacturers of products bearing the trademarks of CSUSM must enter into a non-exclusive trademark license agreement with UARSC and the University. This includes manufacturers who produce not-for-resale, promotional, and other items.

 

The University Store (a division of UARSC) answers questions and provides guidance to the University Community with regard to the use of CSUSM’s trademarks and assists departments, student organizations and other units in finding appropriate and affordable promotional and other imprinted items.
